What Origami is doing to take care of our customers and employees during the COVID-19 crisis: Our vendors follow strict regulations on checking their product prior to sending to us, and once we receive any food or materials into the restaurant, we take special care in properly sanitizing the exterior packaging as well as thoroughly washing the food itself. We shop locally for produce and to-go packaging as much as possible as well discontinuing shipments from over-seas.
We have hired professional cleaning companies to come in for additional sanitation and are limiting the number staff members on the schedule at a time. Our staff follows protocol per the CDC and federal/local regulations by sanitizing all surfaces regularly, hand washing of course, wearing face masks and gloves, making payment transactions over the phone and utilizing curbside pickup to promote no-contact food delivery.
As we are excited to open our patio for out-door seating, we will be maintaining a six foot distance between all tables, require face masks to be worn inside the restaurant and continue to follow any updates as COVID-19 regulations continue to evolve.
